On any given morning across America, pancakes are whipped up in high-end restaurants, diners, and home kitchens alike. This American favorite has been a breakfast staple for decades, inspiring countless renditions of the classic form.

Yet, making pancakes has frequently been a challenge for cooks. Issues with uneven griddle heating and lack of consistency in cooking times and temperatures often cause a portion of each batch to be thrown away due to either burnt edges or undercooked centers. Luckily, American Griddle solves these problems with its even cooking surface as well as shorter cooking times to get everyone to the table for breakfast together.

Regardless of pancake variations that have developed over time, the old-fashioned recipes remain a favorite amongst even the most creative chefs. Step outside of the pancake mix box and try this easy, homemade recipe that will impress even the pickiest of guests when they are cooked perfectly on the American Griddle.
